The Captain did not even want to check? Okay! But then he barely knew what the heck the map contains anyway.
I guess it could play in Sebastian's favor because he can just report anything and lure them all where he wants but that sounds to grand of a plan for this stage :D
The Captain's not really the... best captain ever, but he didn't really expect much information from that; he has where the spring is and how to get there at least, and the fine details will be left to the navigator when he's better. (Should be making a first appearence pretty soon. -w-)
Seb's main plan for now is pretty much 'not telling the captain about the amulet and perhaps some other things' and The Captain at least has the sense to realise there's no way he's going to give that stuff away at this point.
I suppose that is fair then. Why should he tell the Captain anything specific when the Captain has plans of his own? Sebastian can stall him for now.
The problem though is what I mentioned once before. Sebastian's current value is information and that can only help you so much... Gotta step up his game in some other way as well.
