The look on Nate's face in that last panel deserves to be an avatar. It's PERFECT.

Sebastian's logic here is just really flawed. A miracle spring and a miracle amulet together does not a megamiracle talisman make. I understand the reasoning behind giving it a shot for that one slim chance, but still... just seems like a really bad idea to me.

Then again, if you're not gonna go off on a wild goose chase with your doom amulet, I guess there'd be no plot.

...Carry on with your bad decisions and awesome hair, good sir. XD

Hehe, thanks! XD

Yeah, that's what I was going for, so I'm glad you think so! It's pretty ridiculous to pin so much hope on something with no substantial proof aside from vague stories. I thought it'd be an interesting contrast for the main characters, one with an education and naivety of a disney character, the other without an education, but much more cautious and genre savvy. I can't wait to get into all the rest of this stuff later!

Hehehe bad decisions... again, you're not wrong!

Well, what's poor Nate to do, if his only way to find out what's going on is to overhear conversations! xD

It isn't his fault, the world has coerced him into becoming an attic-faller xD

...I stand corrected, FALLING out of the ceiling is a worse first impression. Poor child.
