I think this may be the first hint of the role liches take in society. In fact, I almost went with calling them zombies, but decided on liches because 'zombie' has certain associations in popular media.
She looks more like Native healer than a true witch but I guess that could be the same thing to many people when it comes to black magic, haha.
There are also revenants but that maybe sounds too fancy. Also ghouls but those I see more like mindless lesser undead demonic entities/familiars that devour corpses and more like summoned than reanimated.
You're certainly onto something there. Her abilities do include healing, though also some things lifted directly from what sea witches were thought to do. In truth, neither is exactly the right term...
Yeah, revenants are a bit violent! Which liches are not supposed to be in this universe :D Ghouls would've worked.
