One way for a pirate to put some fear into others. The question is whether he also has the smarts to keep a crew together. At least I slightly assume he would like to be the next captain.
He kinda does, and it makes sense I guess! My entry to 30 days of characters 2019 was dedicated to the history/lore of 'antler people' and they do have a connection to plants and trees.
