Yeah, he sure got over that quicky! I see Nate's relationship with the sea as like a thirst or longing he's ignored and suppressed for so long he forgot he had it. And it's a good thing too, because as I tried to show at the beginning of the chapter, his fear probably saved his life. But now he's remembered, and the barrier's broken. And I can't really deny something supernatural's happening, either.
XD Oh dear. In the planning stages there was gonna be a bit of text here that would've made it clearer, but there wasn't really a way to put it that didn't sound like a weight jab. (Seb's a lil bit squishy, part of why he doesn't like to take his shirt off.)
