Unfortunately, there are no spells at all! Magic exists in various places (and even some people) and it does specific things, but it can't generally be controlled/shaped to do other stuff. I felt like doing a low/mid fantasy thing with this.

I think a good meme about their first kiss would be a talk show format where the hostess asks,
"Sooooo...telllll.... what was your first kiss like?"
And have them both tell white lies while their thought cloud shows otherwise!
I don't know how average people did oral hygiene in the 18th Century.
I did see a classic Indian film where a boy was shown scrubbing his mouth with sand and a finger.
