So, the colours I use for different times of day are a bit cheaty; I overlay a colour layer and put it on a low opacity, with another line layer on top to make sure the lines stay black and the borders and speech bubbles stay white. I rather like this system, heheheh ¬u¬

I also have a bit of a question. When I eventually get onto part two, would you guys prefer for me to stick with this shading style, or switch to a more traditional cell shading like style? Both have pros and cons, I'm just interested. 0w0

It's not cheaty if it looks good and works. :y

And as for the shading, cell shading could work fine, but I like your current line shading quite a bit. It fits the feel of the comic. :)

Heheh, yeah... It's funny how every new project ends up with a new routine for working...

And thanks so much for the input, I will definitely consider that!

What did they do with unsold fish during those times?
At least I think fish do not last long.
Hm.

That is very true! Usually they bring them home and store them in the cellar for a day or two at most, until there's time to smoke/salt/otherwise preserve them. These fish are then usually sold to people who are going on long journeys overseas. 0w0

I like the overlay (I am a multiply junkie, myself), and I like this form of shading (gives the comic an "olden times" feel, if that makes sense)
