So first things first, you may notice a new banner at the top of this site! Beyond's universe has a site now, which will hopefully expand to include more and more projects, including but not limited to other comics. -w- I'm really happy with it and it contains some new art and stuff, so hope ya like it! Heheh, now onto some page stuff...

I was originally going to have Stanza tell what she saw in the middle panels, but I couldn't find a way to avoid having it sound clunky. Everything she says is something we've seen. So I made it kind of a story-ish montage instead. Mer are excellent storytellers -w-

An Expanded Universe! Just like all the big boys (Star Wars, Marvel, etc.) do it! :-D

Also, the middle panel looks indeed like she does an epic (and very emotional) retelling!

"It?" Are we going to find out about where Nate's father is? What happened to him?

The page may not go into that, but it's safe to say that he was lost at sea thirteen years ago.

Nate? The same Nate? Or someone else?
I guess this part is... in the future of the story? Not sure now.

Same person! This is actually around the same-ish time as where the comic is at now. What she's telling her is basically the end of chapter 1 (she saw Nate get taken by the pirates) And most likely a little more information than that (she can confirm he's still alive, at least.)

I'm pleased she got to find out what happened to him, at least. It must have been rough when he went missing.

Yeah, thats definitely one of the main reasons I wanted to include this scene. It would've been pretty horrible to leave that hanging.
