Uhm... well... Colton sure is consequent. And probably sparks even more problems for Sebastian and, by extension, Nate (and potentially himself) in the process.
Love Sebastian's face in fourth panel though, he looks like "...meep?"
Do they have their own Pirate Creed? To quote from the one I am familiar with:
Rule 1: On his own ship, a captain's word is law.
And while: Rule 3: Never shy away from a good fight.
This was not a friendly brawl and the crew made a deal with the captain and his laws: Rule 5: A deal is a deal.
Therefore: Rule 8: Whoever breaks the Creed must suffer death or dishonor.
While I do not find this unusual for pirates (whether he killed him or just chopped his leg off to be replaced with a peg) I suppose this made the point clear, Sebastian included. Fear.
Blackbeard, yup. That fits quite well on their ship.
Plus he is an ex-soldier. I do not know about the rest but at least the Captain burned down stuff and killed people so he can easily terrify without doing much.
He means business.
Pirate: "AAARRRGGHHH!!!"
Colton, you monster!

Hehe, thank you!

I'm enjoying your logic with those rules there!
Yes, the captain unfortunately prefers the Blackbeard method of captaining... Stay away a lot, but make sure everyone's flipping terrified of you.
