"Wait, did you just say you like the idea of lovers enduring hardships together because they care so much about each other? ...tell me more while I recover from the wounds I got for fraternizing with you."
B-But Nathan knows the ending now! I guess for a guy like him it is actually better because he avoided that, to him, nasty surprise of such an ending and now he can focus on the story :D
I legit know people who were quite glad they learned these things in advance and it improved their experience. Huh.
I have heard it said studies show people say they prefer to be spoiler free, but actually enjoy things more if they know the end! I'm not sure how true it is for everyone. I think I'd still prefer not to know, haha. I suppose Nate doesn't mind!
That is plausible and I remember something of that sort myself.
I suppose it also depends on the delivery and probably actually does a great deal. He has some experience from reading stories to his sisters, I believe, so if he reads the story in a very accurate way then Nathan should be happy. I mean, one reason why little children love so much hearing the same story told over and over again is because they love the way the person is reading or saying it :D
Blushing Nate in panel 7 is so cute!
Thanks!
