They're a lot closer to lemons than oranges, but the flavour's a little bit different! They are definitely veeeeery sour. Probably more sour than a lemon.
Come to think of it, even a sweet, ripe navel orange might produce that reaction in somebody who's never had citrus.
I like sour and sweet 'n sour flavors. I can bite a lemon wedge without a change in expression, although I can feel the effect on my tooth enamel.
My favorite cocktail is the Whiskey Sour. I have no idea what the original ingredients were. The drink is made with a mixer with no identifiable natural ingredients.
I've seen Limeade in the frozen concentrate section of the supermarket, but I doubt anybody drinks it without putting some liquor or another into it.
I read limeade and thought of the fizzy stuff XD But wow yeah, regular lime juice is not something I'd want to drink straight, and I always eat the lemon off of my drinks if I go out.
Yeah, while Seb's family would have had plenty of access to sugar if they wanted it, Nate's wouldn't. Although, honey wouldn't have been too hard to come by, and it does go well with lemon. Now if only lemons weren't also a luxury...
